Currently offering Crack Climbing clinics in Joshua Tree on 12/9 and 12/16. Both are Fridays. I’ll discuss and demonstrate techniques from finger locks to off-width, and set up lots of top-ropes so you can practice. Last time I ran this clinic, everyone had the opportunity to climb 10 different cracks! The best way to get better at crack climbing is lots of practice! Questions, or want to sign up? Contact me. Thanks for visiting!
Where: Joshua Tree National Park
Who: This course is intended for climbers who want to improve their crack climbing technique. Open to all experience levels. Most of the routes will be in the 5.6 to 5.10 range.
What: We’ll go over basic techniques on the ground, but the best way to get more comfortable with your jams is to practice–so we’ll have a lot of ropes up, and this will be an active day focused on climbing a lot of pitches! We’ll climb cracks ranging in size from fingers to offwidth and chimney.
